Obituary of Maxwell A. Winsor

WINSOR, Maxwell A. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2010, Maxwell A. Winsor of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Abraham and Isabelle; brothers: James, Norman and Hedley; sisters: Sadie Mullett, Rowena Stockley, Hazel Garland and Pearl Andrews; son-in-law: Steve Gear. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary; three daughters: Marilyn Gear, Linda (Tom) Gear and Dianne (Pat) Palmer, all of Carbonear; three sons: Wayne (Beulah), Harbour Grace, Boyd (Judy), Whitbourne and David (Glenda), Carbonear; eleven grandchildren: Jenny, Suzanne, Tara, Angie, Danielle, Charlene, Justin, Ashley, Gary, Jenelle and Chloe; one great-granddaughter: Maren; sister: Lero Martin, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Sunday, July 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday, July 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's.
