I remember Aunt Sylv being full of fun and laughter, just like the rest of my family, when I was a little girl. She always had a little cat for me to play with when I would visit since I had to leave my own cat at home in London. She told me I was goning turn into a dough boy once, and in fact I do resemble one now, because I liked my Nan's dough boys and raisin buns so much . One time my dad, Guy Noftle, went to visit Uncle Ralph and Aunt Sylv told my mom, Pat Noftle, they should get on a couple of sheets and hide under the Broad Cove bridge and scare Dad when he came home. My dad bought Aunt Sylv's house and he spent the happiest days of his life in that house. Aunt Sylv is a part of my memories of the happiest times of my life in Newfoundland and although I was born in London I think of Broad Cove as my home. I am sad she is gone but now she is past any suffering and she is with her family who have passed over. They are probably having some time now.
